Dear Student/Member:
Thank you for your interest in the William J. Curley Memorial Scholarship. The following are the guidelines and instructions for completion of application forms 2025-1 and 2025-2, plus form 2025-3, the counselor recommendation.
Please make every effort to complete all instructions. The forms must be received by FD Community Federal Credit Union or postmarked no later than the application deadline of March 31, 2025.
Up to four (4) $1,000.00 direct to student scholarships are awarded each year.
Scholarships are one-time awards.
Applicants must be members of FD Community Federal Credit Union and be a member in good standing at the time of application.
The applicant must be a high school senior planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university.
There is no limit to the number of applicants per family. However, only one (1) scholarship per family per year will be awarded in any year.
The applicant must complete forms 2025-1 and 2025-2 including a Statement of Intent.
Forms 2025-1 and 2025-2 must be received by FD Community Federal Credit Union or postmarked no later than March 31, 2025. Applications received after this date will be disqualified.
The applicant shall fill in their name on form 2025-3 and give it to their counselor or advisor for completion. Form 2025-3 and an official transcript of the applicant’s high school grades must also be received, in a sealed envelope, by FD Community Federal Credit Union no later than March 31, 2025.
Failure to have all forms completed and received within the time limits will result in disqualification.
Notification of scholarship recipients will be from the committee as soon as decisions are made. Awardees and family will be invited to attend our Awards Ceremony conducted in conjunction with FD Community Federal Credit Union’s Annual Membership Meeting.
Scholarship funds will be made by direct deposit to the awardees account with FD Community Federal Credit Union and will be payable upon verification of enrollment for the 2025 Fall semester.
