FD partnered with Service Master Albino to collect backpacks and school supplies to be donated to students all over the state! Thank you to all who donated!
Night Out on Main Street
FD had a booth at the Night Out on Main Street event in Watertown! We thank the Watertown Parks & Rec department for hosting this wonderful event and we can't wait to go back on August 17th!
Free Ice Cream Days
FD offered all members free ice cream on June 18th, June 25th, and July 2nd. We thank each and every one of our members for helping us remain a strong and growing financial insitution!
United Way Day of Action
FD Community volunteered in helping the United Way of Greater Waterbury complete their Day of Action event - Stock the Pantry! FD collected 186.3 pounds of food for local food banks and food pantries in the area!
Naugatuck Duck Day
FD competed in the annual Naugatuck Duck Day Corporate Duck Decorating Contest. We won 2nd place! This years display theme was the Naugatuck Fire Department vs Naugatuck Police Department basketball game!
FD Community 90th Annual Meeting
FD celebrated its 90th anniversary with its members at the 2024 annual meeting! Members got the opportunity to take a deep dive into the credit union and hear from the Board of Directors and the Senior Management team about all the different moving parts of FD. William J. Bite of Reality Financial Reality Fair at Crosby High School and Post University!
FD Community partnered with the United Way, Crosby High School, and the Post University staff to host a Financial Reality Fair for high school and college school students all over Waterbury. This event teaches teenagers and young adults about the reality of finances and how to manage them as they enter the next stage of work and life.
