Coat/Clothing Drive for the benefit of Acts 4 Ministry

Warm hearts. FD Community Federal Credit Union is calling on our community to help support the disadvantaged in our local area by donating to our holiday clothing drive.

To participate, please drop off new or gently used winter clothing items to any of their branch lobbies in Waterbury and Watertown. Especially needed this year are men’s coats, jeans, and shoes (size 9 or higher).  Donations will be collected and distributed by Acts 4 Ministry, a non-denominational, tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the needs of families and individuals in financial distress through the collection and distribution of reusable furniture, clothing, and housewares. This year’s collection will directly support the Hospitality Center for homeless adults.

Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. Inspiring Acts of Love

“Surviving the winter is a challenging time for too many in our community,” says FD Community CEO Ann Marino. “We have so many generous and selfless people in our towns, and this kind of support can go a long way to helping people get back on their feet and regain their place as productive members of our society. We’re blessed to be part of such a great community, and I thank everyone in advance for their support.”

The credit union branches will be accepting donations through December 10th.
